1. Through the strategy research about the overall coordinated development of Guangzhou New Town with the region, we planed to combine the great city events with urban sustainable development, promote the development of Guangzhou New Town based on the construction of the Asian Games Town, and implement the strategic conception of southern extension development and intensive utilization of land development of Guangzhou city space, so as to provide more space for Guangzhou to rise rapidly.
2. By using the traditional cluster ecological living pattern of Lingnan for reference, we put forward the concept of "ecological cluster, choose to living near water" in the planning design, so as to form a ecological livable demonstration area with lotus bay as the landscape center, living groups clustered, and the cluster organically linked with ecological and open space, thus providing a unique living and cultural experience for athletes.
3. Highlight the water region characteristics of Lingnan, extend and strengthen the ecological pattern of confluence of "mountain, water, city” around the region, implement ecological water system arrangement and ecological restoration project, so as to create a" blue watery city" based on the plan close to nature, construct the spot-corridor combined ecological recreation space, and create a functionally connected and water-green blended ecological system.
4. Implement the concept of "Green Asian Games", "Technological Asian Games", plan and design to use the utility tunnel, rainwater recycling system, intermediate water reuse system, solar energy + water source heat pump, regional concentrated cooling, vacuum waste collection system, digital community and intelligent home, green transport and other low carbon energy saving high-end technology, carry out effect carbon emission impact evaluation upon the energy conservation effect, and adjust measures to local conditions to build a green and smart community.
5. Through the overall microclimate assessment upon the Asian Games Town, reasonably plan and design of the layout o buildings, and create a good wind environment. Meanwhile, through the adoption of new environmental protection and energy saving materials, reflective thermal-insulating coatings, sunshade and additional heat insulation measures and roof energy saving technology, exterior wall energy saving technology, external window energy saving technology, lighting, ventilation, shading, sun-shading-lighting-energy saving control and other special technologies to achieve the overall energy saving goal of Asian Games buildings.
6. Starting from the concept of dynamic development, planning through to the Asian games Asian games venues and facilities in the function transformation of research, and make the Asian Games Town not only meet the requirements of the Asian games, but also become a ecological demonstration residential community with high-standard supporting facilities, high-cultural taste, and high-end technology application after the games.
7. Adopt the new standard and new technology of "digital detailed rules" in Guangzhou, apply the dynamic modeling and dynamic adjustment design, and implement the planning and design application practice of 3D digital city in Guangzhou Asian Games Town; meanwhile, introduce the role of general counsel to make an all-round and integrated dynamic design and interaction at different levels, namely, planning, implementation and control.
